Data Collection
TradingView Connector does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, usage telemetry, or analytics. The extension operates entirely within your browser.
Alert Data
Alert payloads from TradingView are routed directly from your browser to the HTTP gateway URL you configure. We have no access to these alerts, their contents, or your gateway endpoint.
AI Vision Signal Extractor
When you use the AI Vision Signal Extractor, chart screenshots are sent directly from your browser to the AI provider whose API key you configured. We do not see your screenshots, API keys, or analysis results.
Chrome Storage
The extension uses chrome.storage.sync and chrome.storage.local to store your preferences, gateway URL, filter rules, and alert history. This data never leaves your browser and is not accessible to us or any third party.
Third-Party Services
The extension communicates only with:
- TradingView — to listen to the alert push-stream
- Your configured gateway URL — to forward alerts
- Your chosen AI provider — only when using the AI Vision Signal Extractor
Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above. The extension will continue to respect the principles described here.
