AI for TradingView (“we,” “our,” or “the extension”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Chrome extension collects, uses, and safeguards your information.
You may enter API keys for third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, Vercel Gateway). These keys are stored exclusively in Chrome’s chrome.storage.sync and chrome.storage.local APIs. They are never transmitted to our servers or any third party other than the AI provider you explicitly select.
When you use the extension’s capture feature, a screenshot of your current browser tab is taken using the chrome.tabs.captureVisibleTab API. This screenshot is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you have configured. We do not store, process, or view these screenshots.
The extension stores a local count of analyses performed (an integer) in chrome.storage.local to determine when to display license reminder prompts. This count is stored entirely on your device and is not transmitted externally.
If you purchase a license, your license key is stored locally and verified via the Gumroad API. The license key is sent to Gumroad’s servers solely for validation purposes. We do not store your license key on our servers.

All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage APIs. You can clear all stored data at any time by removing the extension or using Chrome’s “Clear browsing data” feature with the “Cookies and other site data” option. No data persists on our systems because we do not operate any data-collection infrastructure.
The extension is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
